This feature allows you to configure preset profiles for peer ID, client ID, http user-agent, and DHT ID. It can be accessed from Settings > Transfers > Trackers.
The peer ID is used when connecting to trackers and other peers. The client ID is sent to other peers during connection handshake. The user-agent is sent when connecting to trackers over HTTP or HTTPS. The DHT ID is exchanged with every message to other DHT nodes, but generally does not need to be changed.
As an example, you could add the following lines to create a client profile matching another torrent app:

client_id=Transmission 4.0.4
